A Deeper Look
Explore The Course
Hole 1: "The Opener"
257 Par 4 SI 11
257 Par 4 SI 11
257 Par 4 SI 11
A gentle start to the round. This short par 4 offers a good birdie opportunity for those who find the fairway. Avoid the bunkers on the left to set up an easy approach.
Hole 2: "Valley View"
380 Par 4 SI 5
365 Par 4 SI 5
350 Par 4 SI 5
The first real challenge. A long par 4 that doglegs to the right. A well-placed tee shot is crucial to have a clear view of the elevated green, guarded by deep bunkers.
Hole 3: "The Plateau"
175 Par 3 SI 13
160 Par 3 SI 13
145 Par 3 SI 13
Our first par 3 is a scenic challenge. The green is wide but shallow, demanding precise club selection to avoid the drop-offs surrounding the putting surface.
Hole 4: "Long Way Home"
520 Par 5 SI 1
505 Par 5 SI 1
490 Par 5 SI 1
The longest hole on the course and the number 1 stroke index. A true three-shot par 5 for most. A meandering creek crosses the fairway twice, demanding strategy over power.
Hole 5: "The Narrows"
410 Par 4 SI 7
400 Par 4 SI 7
390 Par 4 SI 7
Accuracy is key on this tight, tree-lined hole. The fairway slopes from left to right, pushing any errant drives into trouble. Par is an excellent score here.
Hole 6: "Risk & Reward"
305 Par 4 SI 15
290 Par 4 SI 15
275 Par 4 SI 15
A classic short par 4. Long hitters can attempt to drive the green, but water protects the front-left. The smart play is an iron to the wide landing area, leaving a simple wedge in.
Hole 7: "The Quarry"
190 Par 3 SI 9
175 Par 3 SI 9
160 Par 3 SI 9
A daunting par 3 over an old quarry. There is no bailout; you must hit the green. Club selection is everything, as the wind can swirl in this exposed part of the course.
Hole 8: "The Bend"
430 Par 4 SI 3
415 Par 4 SI 3
400 Par 4 SI 3
A sweeping dogleg left that demands two great shots. The approach is played uphill to a two-tiered green. Anything short will roll back 30 yards.
Hole 9: "Homecoming"
500 Par 5 SI 11
485 Par 5 SI 11
470 Par 5 SI 11
A fantastic finishing par 5. Reachable in two for long hitters, but the green is well-protected. Laying up to a comfortable wedge distance is the percentage play to finish your front nine.
"An hour from the city, yet a thousand miles from anywhere. This isn't just golf, it's an escape."
